Fiona has been a school governor and later an Academy Trust Director, for over 20 years. Her decision to become involved in the life of schools was due to being a parent of two young children, who were attending school and wanting to help at their school. They are now adults, but Fiona has continued her involvement with the Trust the school helped form as she can see that there is a role and a need for the wider community to share their skills in education.

Fiona am a registered Social Worker and has over 30 years’ experience working in children’s services, where she is involved in making complex decisions in relation to children and young people’s wellbeing. She enjoys being part of the One Excellence team. She is committed, along with all colleagues in the Trust, to ensure all pupils achieve their potential, within a safe and happy environment at their school and are able to look back on happy memories of their school days, when they were pupils of this Trust.
